we also hope to help contribute to a similar revival of the cassette! it was the first form of democratized music. anyone, anywhere, could own an affordable machine capable of recording to cassette and they could record their own tapes! there was no way for the corpos to prevent people from simply copying tapes, and many people made mixtapes for fun and for their loved ones.
